Esoteric Yoga

The Yoga of Stillness

Picture
The purpose of Esoteric Yoga is to return us to our natural way of living in connection
with our body, our movements, our expression, our feelings and what is happening within us.
In today’s modern world, with our often fast paced, complicated and stressful lives, Esoteric Yoga reminds us that there is a way to live in connection with our body and our inner stillness. This inner stillness supports us to remain calm, steady and aware.

In a class the space is provided to stop and feel how we have been living, the impact this has on our body, and how this affects our health and well-being. Esoteric Yoga supports us to develop a deeply caring relationship with ourselves.

"Esoteric Yoga develops the quality
that becomes the movement
that you will magnify throughout your body."

“We have lost the ability to be still and or even know what it is.
That stillness is within – it is in your inner-most.”

Serge Benhayon
Stillness is our natural quality of being. This quality, once re-connected to, can be nurtured and deepened by the choices we make in our day to day livingness.

In stillness we can connect to how we are responding to what is going around us, allowing us to feel, know, and understand ourselves and the world we live in. It is a quality that brings joy, simplicity, steadiness and awareness – a space within us that is free of stress, tension, anxiety and emotional ups and downs.

Stillness can be described as a harmonious flow or movement of energy in and through our body. Esoteric Yoga is a modality that supports us to become familiar with this quality. Read more on stillness.

It is through our body that we will know and understand who we are.

Q U A L I T Y

An Esoteric Yoga class offers the opportunity to truly stop, and come back to you
and the quality of energy in your body.

Each class helps us to realise that we can choose to bring a harmonious quality into our everyday movements, and that the quality we bring to our movements determines how we feel and the level of well-being we experience. In a class the focus is simply on what we are doing and how we are doing it.

Making quality a part of our everyday movement.

M O V E M E N T

We can use everyday life to understand and explore
the quality and movement of energy through our body.

Every movement we make magnifies a quality of energy throughout our physical and physiological body. The quality of stillness is a flow of energy. If we choose this quality it is then magnified and therefore distributed with every movement we make. Our movements include not only physical movements such as walking, but all that we say and express, our thoughts and our intentions.

Movement is occurring all day as everything we express via our physical body is a movement of energy. Therefore the quality of movement that we choose has a direct effect on our health and well-being. Read more on the science of movement.

Esoteric Yoga provides participants with the space to explore
movement, quality and the science of energy,
and continues well beyond a class.
