I have discovered how profound, powerful and healing it is to know what true stillness really feels like when I am in charge.
Since the course I have enjoyed receiving a number of yoga sessions. I have appreciated that I can do the movements with a wall as support, and cushions and rugs to keep me comfortable and warm. As a client, with each Esoteric Yoga session it’s like I have been given a new beginning, a new opportunity to start afresh with a way to be that feels absolutely delicious and solid.
I have also committed to practicing 100 hours with my own clients in order to become accredited as a practitioner. I have seen and felt how the sessions support others in their lives, helping them to deal with difficult relationships, health problems, patterns of behavior, anxiousness and lots more, by bringing them back to stillness and presence.
It’s not that I have to provide any solutions for my clients, and this is the beauty of Esoteric Yoga. It allows each person to access their own wisdom, to feel the strength in their tenderness and delicateness from within, to connect with their essence - their soul, and to learn to trust the inner knowing that we all have. As practitioner and client together we can suggest and commit to changes, become more aware of how we are moving and using our bodies, what our thoughts are, and love ourselves more.
My relationship with myself and the relationships with my clients is something to be celebrated. We have shared how we live with less emotion and more joy, trust and surrender – I cannot recommend these qualities highly enough, they have my full embrace.
Life becomes an unfolding process with this modality as a support. Esoteric Yoga has changed the way I move, whenever I feel tense or tired it offers a restorative stop moment to recharge and/or rest.
Esoteric Yoga will always be something I cherish in my daily life.
